Description

Cannot access any of my pages, including start page, after updating to 1.8.1 and 1.8.2.

Steps to reproduce

1. Have my FreeBSD Moinmoin port updated to 1.8.1.

2. Just trying to open the start page (https://sis.home/wiki), and got an error.

3. Have Moinmoin updated to 1.8.2. Problem still here.

Looks like a problem in the "ca" (catalan) i18n (MoinMoin/i18n/ca.MoinMoin.po). Hmm, I checked our stuff, but don't see a problem there. If you use setup.py, did you use the --force option? You could also try cleaning up at the dest directory first. You didn't specify from which moin version you are coming. -- ThomasWaldmann 2009-03-15 11:35:11

There are lot's of strange effects caused by mod_python known. Do you have tried an other deployment too, cgi, standalone, mod_wsgi?

I remember troubles with mod_python. However, my setup "just works" before updating to 1.8.1 (it was 1.7.something). I will try standalone/cgi tomorrow.

Have 1.8.2 running fine (but slow) with CGI mode. Just one annoying thing: it gets me to the HelpOnLanguages instead of FrontPage. But I don't want to change anything, it "just works" before! My bad, my wikiconfig.py was just replaced. 18.03.2009
