Description

When previewing a newly created, yet unsaved page, all of it contents will be discarded.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new page (or subpage), like this bug report, using the text editor.
  2. Call the page preview, without having saved anything before.
  3. You will have the right page preview, but in the text editor box above nothing will be left but Describe blahblah here...

Discussion

Since this issue is related to data loss, it is to be considered "critical". It makes this version unsuitable for a stable release.

Use of the page preview function is very common, as it offers the possibility to correct typos, prolong the page locking, and so on. Thus users cannot sensibly create pages as long as this problem is not fixed.
