Description
When an edit conflict happens, there are markers to highlight the conflict. These markers are hard-coded. A translation would be nice.
Steps to reproduce
- Change your language away from the default english
- Have an edit conflict
- Look at the markers

Having translated edit conflict messages requires knowing the target language. How do we choose it?
- Ahh. Now I see the reason behind that behavior. I and some users expected that the conflict messages would be in the preferred language from the user preferences (or the wiki defaults) -- like all other UI things. I understand that there is a difference as this is not strictly UI. The markers become content when an editor does not handle or see a conflict. Conflict handling even in the UI is more complicated than I thought.
