Description

Internet Explorer renders the <span class='anchor'></span> tags incorrectly and tabs them a little bit. Because there are so many lines in SyntaxReference, it's easy to see the effect of the tabs that build up.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Just look at this wiki's SyntaxReference page (Look at this), or any other long pages with IE (confirmed in 6.0 and in 7.0).

This is not a IE 7 bug. It occurs will all IE for windows! -Dexter (11-20-06)

I have updated my own wiki instance to 1.5.6, and this bug still exists (IE7 w/Modern theme). What version is this wiki on moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de? -Dexter (11-21-2006)

This wiki runs the latest code from http://hg.thinkmo.de/moin/1.5/

Thank you! I see that the code for fixing it was posted on http://hg.thinkmo.de/moin/1.5/ 2 days ago :) -Dexter (11-22-2006)

Discussion

This bug only seems to affect Windows IE browsers. For instance, IE 5 Mac edition renders the line links correctly.
