Discussion

Perhaps it's not a bug probably this is done to be able to have a linebreak in a long non breakable word. Then it should be breaked this way only if the line limit is reached.

The comment of David Linke/Testing User Autocreate is much longer. A word must only breakble if the line limit is reached :-)

Yeah, but it's not easy to get it probably for all browsers. I thought first on using the tag SOFT HYPHEN (00AD): SOFT HYPHEN (SHY) allows an automatic line break to be established just after it (like ZERO WIDTH SPACE). but this doesn't work in firefox and konqueror, no break. Then I found the <wbr> tag and this does work in firefox but not in konqueror (3.3.2). The WBR tag marks a place where a line break can take place. It does not necessarily always result in a line break; rather, it says that line breaks are allowed at this place. Unicode has it's ZWSP character. This works with firefox and in konqueror but there it is not an invisible sign. the zero width space character (ZWSP, U+200B, character reference in HTML: &#8203;) does not have width and "it is used to enable additional (invisible) break opportunities wherever space cannot be used"

It could be rather difficult to solve this now just only for comments. That's the difference between reading and practise.
