NTLM authorisation in Standalone

It would be nice if the standalone version of MoinMoin supported NTLM authorisation "out-of-the-box". I know what you'll say, if you need it, use it under CGI in IIS (way too slow) or under Apache with ModNTLM (not exactly fun to set up!). This feature would admittedly only be of interest to people wanting to run MoinMoin on windows boxes, in an intranet setting, using windows authentication/AD as the primary authorisation method. I think that's probably a fairly large numberof people though.

p.s. if anyone has a pretty good idea of what would be neede to achieve this, I might be able to do some/most of it myself (I'm fairly proficient in a range of languages and situations C#/VB/Oracle/Fortran/C etc, but my my linux experience is very limited, and my python coding is basically a case of edit, cross fingers, crash, edit again and hope!)

Apache is not that difficult to set-up for NTLM/SSPI on Windows - probably easier than programming NTLM auth for MoinMoin. Have you seen: -- DavidLinke
