Abstract
Create a screencast of setting up mercurial (on the operating system this task is meant for), using it for moin development, using it with bitbucket.
Details
MoinMoin uses mercurial (hg) as version control system.
Your task is to create a screencast (>= 6 mins) showing how to use mercurial for development.
Hints:
- for linux use plain mercurial and commandline (shell)
- for windows use tortoisehg (includes mercurial and other stuff) and GUI
- how to setup mercurial
- how to clone the moin/2.0-dev repository
- show a GOOD development cycle (include hg status, hg diff, hg merge)
- explain hg commit, hg push
- show how to use bitbucket repo and explain why one would want it
You must deliver a screencast in .ogv format (ogg vorbis video).
