There will never be a release 1.4.
What we planned for 1.4 was much too much to achieve in a 0.1 version step and time frame.
Further, we had to implement some nice features fast, based on stable code (thus we used 1.3 as the base for it and not the unstable moin--main--1.4 branch). This development will be released as release 1.5 after the usual beta and RC testing.
To avoid complete user confusion (like releasing 1.4 after 1.5 - or putting huge improvements into a 0.0.1 version step), we decided to rename the thing formerly known as release 1.4 to release 2.0, so we have more room for minor updates of the stable version (1.3 and 1.5) until we release 2.0.
