Discussion

Which language are you using/have you set in your browser?

hu translation is rather outdated and therefore incomplete. You can help on MoinI18n/hu. Just search for empty msgstr and fuzzy translations and fix them. I did a quick fix for the quickhelp that also needs translation.

I had the same problem with 1.5.4 (which already included the patch). For some reason, MoinMoin/i18n/init.py had problems replacing the markup while building data/cache/i18n/*. Die Quick Help appeared language-translated, but no markup-translated and with an additional "*" (marker for format problem in MoinMoin/i18n/init.py:162). I don´t know how this came. Removing data/cache/i18n/* fixed the problem (after 2 hours of debugging). -- TobiasPolzin 2006-08-02 18:04:53

I have the same problem in Release 1.5.8, with languages en and nl. No other languages tested. So this bug is still not fixed. -- 82.93.232.101 2007-05-24 12:51:43

This bug in 1.7.1

Unfortunately we have the same problem with a site running moin 1.7.1. The German translation is OK, while the Japanese one still shows the Verbatim macros uninterpreted. I have checked the corresponding .po files but I couldn't figure out where the problem is rooted. -- -- JózsefJároli 2008-10-15 13:37:19

(!) I fixed the japanese i18n for 1.8. I just removed the <<Verbatim( and )>> from the quickhelp section about headlines. -- ThomasWaldmann 2008-10-29 02:48:22
